Anwar Group is one of the a few groups which are playing role as driving force of the country’s private sector. Anwar Silk Mills Limited, Anwar Yarn Dyeing, Mahmood Industries and Hossain Dyeing and Printing Mills Limited – these industrial units formed over the years.  Apart from that in Jute sector the mentionable companies are Anwar Jute Spinning Mills Ltd., Anwar Jute Goods Ltd. In Steel sector Anwar Ispat Limited, Khaled Iron and Steels Limited, Anwar Galvanizing Ltd., are mentionable. In real estate sector, this group’s company Anwar Landmark Limited is having significant role in constructing housing suitable for the time. This group has business also in education and ICT sectors. In trading Anwar group’s companies are Anwar Export-Import Limited, Kaba Trading Company and Mala Corporation. Mentionable companies of Anwar Group in Agro Industry are Anwar Fisheries and Poultry Limited, Anwar Green Limited and Jamilabad Agro Estate Limited. In other sectors Sunshine Cable and Rubber Wear Limited, Anwar Cement Ltd., A-1 Polymer Industries Ltd., are mentionable. Anwar Group has investments also in Banking, Insurance and non-Banking financial sector. One of the Private Commercial Banks (PCBs) the City Bank Limited, in general insurance sector, the City General Insurance Co., Ltd., and in leasing sector Bangladesh Finance and Investment Ltd., are some of the institutions of this group. Apart from that AG Automobiles Ltd., is performing important roles in urban transportation. At present, despite himself being owner of a vast industrial empire, Anwar Hossain has not at all precipitated. By transforming his creativity into action, this able entrepreneur personality is still devoted in practice of industry. Once very warmly received, passionately loved house to house in Bangla, ‘Anwar Mala Sari’s manufacturer was a firm of Anwar Group. Anwar Group has many products of this kind, praised and warmly received by customers. Coming down to business, not only profit but giving priority to service, one after another, he stitched the garland of success. Achievement of success in one case prompted him, inspired him to become successful in ten other cases. Today’s distinguished entrepreneur Anwar Hossain in this way structured his industrial family. Like father he has also raised his children making them competent to be in the helms of affairs of the group. In future days, this group’s contribution will expand further in economic prosperity of the country.
