The name of Dr.Muhammad Yunus as father of micro-credit is no more limited within Bangladesh. After receiving Nobel Peace prize in the year 2006, Muhammad Yunus’s name went spread all across the world. Bangladesh became known all across the world anew along with his identity. Of course the micro-credit actions, the accomplishments since his birth was spread much before in various countries. Ever-increasing poverty all over the world induces many countries to set in the philosophy of micro-credit nationally. Using Zobra, a village near to Chittagong University, Dr.Yunus gave birth to Grameen Bank a successful project for poverty alleviation. Labor, talent and sincere efforts of 28 years turned into a tree and lit a torch of honor at the house of Yunus.The torch which enlightens him and his work throughout the world. During this long time he did not just keep his creativity limited within the limits of micro credit. His earnest nursing gave birth to Gramin Check, Grameen Shakti and some more organizations. He established ‘Grameen Uddog’ to keep up the status of the country in textiles by presenting fading traditional handloom industry of Bengal in new formation. Gramin Check made by supplying Yarn, Dyes, technology and design to the weavers rehabilitated them and added a new dimension to economic activities. Originator of such successful initiatives Dr.Yunus the entrepreneur of Grameen Family has gone enlisted in the list of top business personalities of the world. Due to his success, hundreds thousands of initiators, workers of Gramin family get the inspiration to stride ahead. Sixty-six hundred thousand people of the entire country got the loan facility of Gramin Bank up to February 2006. Dr.Muhammad Yunus received best personality of the year prize in 2005 of Arthokatha-Moneytalk in recognition of providing new directions in business and commerce of the country and uncommon success in micro credit. Prior to that in 2005 Arthokatha conferred the recognition of year’s Best Banking personality Award to Dr.Yunus. He was on the top of 100 Business Personalities of the year in 2006 of Arthokatha. After getting the world’s best honor, any new nomination is dim to a greater extent for Noble Laurate Dr. Yunus. In spite of that to uphold the brightness of this talented entrepreneur, economist and business personality Arthokatha’s nomination for Best Entrepreneur and best personality Award of the year  was given in 2007.
