Turned into a business- Persona Group from small Beauty Parlor-, creating employment for women, fulfilling social responsibility, with sweetness of mind in constant endeavor with tireless labor, she who turned paint-brush of decorating humans into paint-brush of artists, she who raised the subject of women’s beauty that is the subject of beauty care services from the stage of mere     fancy, fashion or luxury to give it an institutional form, she is famous beautician of Bangladesh, Kaniz Almas Khan. Owner of beauty care firm, PERSONA famed by own name. Though the parental home of Kaniz Almas Khan is in Dhaka she was born in Chittagong. Her father Dewan Badiul Alam used to stay there in connection with employment. Childhood of Kaniz Almas passed at Dhaka’s garden house at Malibag. After passing Secondary and Higher Secondary Examinations from Siddheswari Girls School and College, Kaniz Almas Khan accomplished graduation from Eden College. She took training on Beatification from famous beautician of Bangladesh, Zerin Ashgar Khan. Later took training from Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, China and Bangkok. From innate eagerness to beauty and with the inspiration of the members of the family, make-up art of Kaniz Almas commenced, in the year 1990 with the Beauty Parlor named Glamour.  Only with 5 workers she started the activities of Glamour. Giving value to the authentic, limitless love and ever-increasing customer demand of the people tiny ‘Glamour’ turned into ‘Persona’ and relocated to Dhanmondi Road No.27, in the year 1998. After commencement of activities with 12 workers, in a space of 3400 sq.ft, persona’s demand only increased, increased space, types of service diversified and then raised standard. For that reason in the year 2005, on the Road No.27 in huge area, Persona surfaced in new form, enriched with quality management. Kaniz Almas Khan is leading the huge Persona family with about 200 workers, executives, managers, and consultants. At the same time she is editing the country’s first lifestyle and fashion beauty magazine ‘Canvas’. At present in 4 branches of girls and 2 branches of boys, there are 1200 workers on the job. Advancing forward through the modernization of the art of beatification, perseverance and kinship   of achievements she received honor from various organizations, achieved recognition of performance and quite a few prizes. Recently she received Brand Leadership Award 2009 from World Leadership Congress held at Mumbai. In family life, her husband Mr. Nasarat Ali encourages socio-cultural organizations. Many other well-wishers including the only daughter Nuzhat’ love   is the source of inspiration for her work. For solution of dismal unemployment problem in the country Kaniz Almas Khan has deep and intimate supervision. Persona is giving the customers new services and concepts all the year round   specially through economic co-operation amongst unemployed youth and autonomous Persona Group as she has kept running which is undoubtedly illustrious. Persona is totally independent in her work and set-up. Outside the traditional beauty care, with exceptionality and ease in execution, every now and then with dynamic role, surrounding the area of spot of No. 31 Subaste Senim Plaza, 1st Floor’ at Dhanmondi Road No.27, throughout whole week amongst different service oriented organizations Kaniz Almas Khan’s Persona is making a different measure with own specialties and have created a new dimension. Outside work, Kaniz Almas Khan remains busy surrounding her family.
