Khan Mohd.Ameer is one of a limited few personalities, who’s coming out in the commercial realm took place, due to family ties. His father Late Mohammad Yunus Khan was a pioneer personality of printing industry of the then East Pakistan. He was well familiar as a successful personality in printing trade in Kolkata and Burma (Yangon) for a long period during the era of Undivided India. After partition, he started printing business in Dhaka in the year 1948 and was successful in getting himself established as one of the top and successful entrepreneur businessmen. Though in the challenging realm of trade and commerce Mr. Mohd.Ameer entered hand in hand with his father, he did not keep himself limited for long within the circle of familiarities of his father. He developed his own circle capitalizing on own talent, thoughts-awareness and labor. After independence standing on the devastations of war ravaged Bangladesh, with the objective of building new country with the new initiatives in the year 1972 Mr. Ameer together with his other brothers took up the helms of their family realm and made happen the expansion. At present he is the helmsman of trade and industrial enterprise of international standard, Samriddha Padma Group.

Benevolent to the country, Mr. Ameer supposes a great way for eradication of property is employment for the unemployed youth. For that reason in all cases of his initiatives for industrial enterprises he emphasizes the subject of employment. Though in his enterprises now about five thousand officers-employees are working, he expects this number will increase a few times more in the future. But not only employment, as part of social awareness he has plans to establish various types of social welfare organizations including schools in his rural home Dhamrai. By this time in memory of his deceased father he constructed an ultra-modern commercial building ‘Yunus Trade Center’ in Dhaka’s heart center Motijheel.  This 25 storied building constructed on 1.02 Bigha land is considered as a unique addition in blending of beauty and aristocracy. Arthokatha Jury Board nominated Khan Mohd. Ameer founder Director of Pragoti Life Insurance, year’s top business personality award in the year 2006 by considering his special contributions in commercial arena.
